For over a year whenever I try to perform changes to existing locations or add new ones to the map, these changes are rejected within seconds. (Although I’m sure that the changes in themselves are correct.) Images an reviews are accepted.
I already addressed the issue once here and received no help.
Has my account been denied the right to change/add locations and if yes: why?

I have the same issue. I changed a location (my address) but past me are houses that have a designated address with a letter (i.e. 10A, 10B, 10C, etc.). I would like to add these addresses so that people don’t keep coming down my driveway looking for these other houses. It doesn’t let me add addresses.

From time to time, your edits may not be applied as we reserve the right to disable user generated contributions for individual business profiles and business categories to prevent abuse.

I don’t think that answers the question. Of course any edits have to be reviewed and approved. But it won’t let me create a new address or location.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to address my problem. I would perfectly understand if my changes took some time to be evaluated, but all my changes are almost immediately, seemingly automatically rejected.
E.g.: I added the phone number in https://goo.gl/maps/2AhB2dx21LG7PDCE6 : immediatley rejected.
I added the information that https://goo.gl/maps/5YaAimRRCbPik1kA8 has closed down: Rejected although the image of the note at the window has been accepted.
I tried to correct the spelling in https://goo.gl/maps/w8nY5ap5Z5F9Xvgz9 (“Öffentliche” instead of “Öffendliche” which is not even a word in german) : immediatley rejected.
Reviews and pictures on the other hand are accepted.

To follow up on the previous answers, user generated content in certain areas may be disabled due to legal reasons. We may suspend services in certain areas if we are investigating suspected misconduct.
Are you still facing issues regarding your edits?
Yes. Every single edit ist rejected.
