Unable to change home city in settings

Greetings,

I have since relocated to a different city after I originally signed up for the Guide program. Anytime I try to change my local city, I get a “no results found” in the text box on the settings page. This happens on my home desktop as well as my Pixel phone. It does not pull up any locations at all when typing anything, not even nearby cities such as LA or San Francisco pop up to allow me to make a selection, only “no results found” no matter what is typed. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I can see San Francisco is available there. When you start typing San the first option is San Francisco.

Please check again and confirm. If You’re referring to any other location please let us know.

Thank you for reaching out to us!

I would suggest you try the following:

First check if you are properly logged in with your Google account.
The problem might occur if your internet connection speed is not sufficient or if the connection is not stable.
Check if you have updated to the last version of Google Maps.
You can also check the Manage your Android device’s location settings.
If the issue still persists I would suggest sending a feedback about your experience with Maps.

Thank you all for your input. I did not change any settings but now I was able to update my sign in city. It must have been just a momentary issue. Thanks again!!!
