The problem is that I can not add more than one organization or house. I have permanent abnormalities. Level 8 and I got a lot of rewards. I add a shop or hairdresser attach a few photos with geolocation, mode of operation and get deviations. I could put 100, maybe more seats, but I can’t. I lose my glasses. So as not can add place, and if there is no seats there is no reviews with photo. That is, there is no place on the map, and I was there and took a lot of photos. But my photos cannot be uploaded as there is no space. I take extra pictures of the place but still deviations. However, I noticed that about 30% of the 100% edits are accepted. 0% of 100% are added. What is the point of being a guide, adding photos, editing places and adding them if there is no such possibility. I was surprised how much advertising on the cards around me. Organizations doing high-profile names and slogans. If you approach the store it will have a modest name. On the map, he writes a lot of words to be well found by search engines. I try to delete the information, but it does not work.
Please read my local forum, where I write a lot of notes, what organizations need to be added. I don’t see any answers or help. Perhaps volunteers are not able to help me. Why do volunteers have the ability to edit the graphic map and experts do not? Why can’t I edit the graphics card?
Hi @user_not_found . You wrote plenty. It looks like you’re struggling while contributing to the Google Maps. But, it’s not clear to me what is the specific problem you actually faced. You should post it at “Help Desk”. There you might get a solution.
Adding a private place like someone’s house or home is against local guide rules.
Thanks for the advice. I’ll try to change the category. Any home can be added. Private houses are marked on Google maps around the world. This is not my problem, please read the post and follow the link to the google forum. I noted all the places that I wanted to add and did not forget. Follow the link to the google forum and you’ll understand everything. I can not add anything. I can not add the organization. I can not add the company. I can not add a hairdresser. I can not add a car service. I can not add a shopping center. I can not add the road. I can not add a residential apartment building.
@user_not_found It will be helpful for us if show a screen what message you get while you want to add anything. As you have added places earlier so.please show us a screenshot where you get stuck. Sometimes adding someplace or organization may take extra time. In that case, you should wait. To get a message from google map. Thanks.
But in order to get help I suggest you pick one single problem and describe it with links and screen shots here on Connect instead of linking to another forum.
It does sound like you want to add the outline of missing buildings to the map layer. That is not something we can do as local guides.
Also in some places (India is one such example) where high res arial photos and satellite photos are banned. And the outline of buildings on the map layer are based on such photos. That might explain what you are experiencing.
Another explanation could be that your trust score has gone down for adding new pins. That you might be able to investigate by collaboration with other local guides in your neighborhood. If they are also not able to add new pins it could be a general problem and not that you did anything wrong.
Hi @user_not_found thank you for reaching out. Answers given by the above local guides are correct, we are not allowed to add homes on Google Maps, only businesses can be added by us local guides. From my understanding on your problems it looks like all your edits are being rejected and when you add new locations do not get approved, this is normal to local guides and you do not have to get upset with that but it should not happen to all your edits or additions. As @MortenCopenhagen has mentioned, in some other countries it was reported that there was a high number of local guides who spam Google Maps I think that this might be the area where you live, and due to this, edits might have been blocked from your location. As per both of your threads(In Maps forum & here) seems like you are talking about two issues;
Unable to add polygons(houses,areas, apartment building & etc.)
Unable to add listings(organisations local shops & etc.)
Correct me for above details, if I am getting wrong.
Polygons Can only be added by maps team. we can let them know about what is missing. That post in help forum for adding polygons is in correct section. I’d recommend you providing additional details to the Expert. So, that they can escalate it for you. As we can see team is trying to solve each n every issue there.
In some cases maps team tried to correct listings but not every listing can be added/edited but them. As rightly suggested by expert, you need to add them self. What procedure exactly you are trying to add them and what details you are filling?
I add a place and get rejected. The wait is fast. The solution is to refuse. I cannot add a store, company or organization. I can not add a shopping center and much more.
Please consider selecting one problem only. We can’t help you when you are sharing lists of problems and refer to other fora.
Also an important advise is to go slower and listen to what the AI is telling you between the lines. If you break down your edits into smaller chunks you might learn what edits you have a high trust score in. That way over time you will learn how to make edits of higher quality. Edits that get approved right away. But it takes time and patience to build the experience and trust. We have all been there and we have all been frustrated.
And remember it might not be your fault. There might be missing info from other sources before your edits can be confirmed.
Again try to team up with other local guides in your area to learn from them and collaborate on getting important edits approved.
Google Maps are slow. That’s the problem. The organization is 10 years old and it is still not on the map. You know why? Because the Common man does not need to add it. The shopkeeper has a lot of other problems. Therefore, experts Google can add to the organization. So information becomes faster. In General, you do not answer correctly. You refuse to read the information on the local forum. Why write in this topic? I made it very clear that I was having constant trouble adding seats. I confirm the information with photos, geolocation and other data. However, it does not help and I get a constant refusal to add places. My problem is that the constant failures.

there is no benefit of suggesting more than one edit to a listing. Everything becomes more tricky when you suggest edit >remove this place. Edits under remove this place option are most sensitive. These options play a vital role in gaining and loosing trust score in maps.
Everything you add/edit in maps can not be verified by maps algorithm and the team, this is why we have check the facts section.
If Google could trust everyone to always make good edits then there would never be denials, but unfortunately those that purposely or innocently add bad data have resulted in the need for filters. Sometimes those filters will give a false positive, and sometimes those filters kick in due to you unknowingly violating a rule. (flash)

Thank you very much. I realized that can’t influence this in any way. Member profile is not edited by manual trust. Only an automatic algorithm creates trust. Manual changes cannot be made.
