I am having trouble in updating or modifying the details on the google maps. Some how every time i update its not getting accepted.
I had posted the same issue in the Google Maps community too… But i did not receive any help.

The place “Anubhava” appears to be a private residence. Why it is there on Maps is itself doubtful. One can’t add a private place in Maps.
The remaining two edits referred in the thread are related to banks.
That category of POI was subject to maximum spamming & fraudulent changes to cheat the people.
It may be so that the POI category “Bank” is no more available for user-generated content, including edits.
Non availability of edits to phone number is a well known case.

Thanks for the quick reply. Although “Anubhava” is a residence, it has 3 houses so i feel this can be considered as a apartment.
I understand the sensitivity on editing the details on the bank. But it is a valid edit, so i am not sure how to at least complain for it or get it reviewed.
Just for my understanding if there is a change to be done on the contact information or deleting a duplicate what are the main things required, i used to update it before but somehow all my edits are getting rejected.
Does that has something to do with handset too 
(I recently switched from pixel to iphone )
I have edited this place as a duplicate, but it was not accepted by google maps.

Does the apartment complex generate traffic of customers? If no, then it’s ineligible for addition to Maps.
Please note, Maps is meant to display places of business or tourist spots only & not the private addresses having no commercial business.
