Unable to add location

Hello fellow local guides!

So I have been trying to add a state park to maps for months. The addition is initially accepted. Then days later I check my additions and its “unknown”. The reason for not adding " unable to verify location". So I’ve uploaded images of the entrance sign. Which has state logos and the full name. I have done way more for this park to get it added than I have for almost any other location. But it won’t add. Any help would be most appreciated.

PS: the name of the park is “Negro Bar”. Yes its a real name and no its not racist. It’s just the name of the park.

A Park is an area (polygon) and not a point on the map. Such places can not be added by local guides.

Such data issues are better dealt with in the Maps support forum.

Hit the Community tap at the top and make a post. You need to attach or link to official documentation supporting the existence and a map of the park.

Please share additional details here,

  1. Confirmation mail from the maps team, received right after making successful edit
  2. That sign board at the entrance
  3. Link to that park
