"Ulu Cami" The great Mosque of Bursa"

“Ulu Cami” The great Mosque of Bursa" it can be considered as one of the oldest mosques in Bursa …Its age reaches more than 600 years…!!!
Its minaret is similar to the minaret of Hussein Mosque in Cairo…Once you enter the mosque you’ll be amazed of the fantastic arts and beautiful fine details of it…Each corner contains a treasure of fine artistic hand writings , Old lighting units , Artistic ceilings , A wonderful fountain inside the mosque…This mosque contains the oldest cover for the door of the holly cube of Mecca…

Hi @M_Yones ,

Thanks for sharing your photos! Looks really interesting. Are there any restrictions to going into the Mosque? I’ve never been to one in my life. The building is beautiful and so much history! Do you live in the city or did you travel to see this mosque?

Thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

@DanniS You’re more than welcome…Actually, Many mosques in Turkey can be visited by tourists from all over the world such as “The blue Mosque” , “Aya Sofya” and “the great mosque of Bursa” but all people shall enter mosques without their shoes and women shall wear veil.

In Fact, I don’t live in Bursa but I liked it so much because it has many different places such as Uludağ mountain. Moreover, I like traveling and I promise to prepare many posts telling stories about my memories during my trips to share my experiences with local guides
