Hello Everyone across the Local Guides GoogelSphere…I am Darren and I live in the UK. I know that meetup days get suggested all the time but I think we should think bigger and have a national meetup! Could we make it happen? Would there be any interest? Or am I just thinking too big?

This sounds like a great idea. I’d definitely be interested in fact I was thinking the same recently, especially as my Liverpool meet up was a little bit of a failure. Any ideas on a location?

I’m from LA, but I’ll be traveling to London in early September, and would love to meet some fellow Guides from the UK.
Count me in too from Gloucestershire. The map of Local Guide meet-ups here in the UK looks a little pathetic right now. It would be good if there was a way of being able to see (here’s an idea on a Google Map?) who/where all your local guides are so you can send a specific invitation to them to a meet-up. Am I missing somehting - as if that is alreayd possible someone point me in the right direction!!
Cool, I’d be interested too. A bit unsure about what it is though. Are we thinking complex, like building a sweatlodge and sweating in some ancient, Scottish forest, or more like Beer + fish & chips?
