This park is located in Nairobi, Kenya. A park that is plenty in open spaces and a good spot for photography. For starters, photography in Nairobi city and the environs is allowed only on Sundays. You may want to keep that in mind so that you do not get into trouble with the authorities.
Uhuru park comprises of two parks; one called Central park and the other Uhuru park. These two are separated by Kenyatta Avenue. For photo excursions, you can start from either park depending on the drop off point. In essence, there is plenty of scenery to photograph, from the landscape, structures, vegetation, birdlife (there is a section with Marabou Storks) and a small water body.
If interested, you can hit me up we organize a photography excursion one of these fine Sundays. Reach me at [REDACTED] While at it, you may take a peek at Asili Photos where I curate African Stock Photos
