Udaygiri Caves, Bhubaneshwar, India.

Hi All,

About a year back, I had visited Puri, Odisha, with my family and on return journey to Bhubaneshwar, we visited ancient caves of 2nd century BC.

It about 8.0 km from Bhubaneshwar. These caves are known as Udaygiri and Khandagiri Caves, both are situated on two different hills facing each other.

We have time constraints so we could see only one, Udaygiri caves. They are partly natural and partly carved by people at that time, with nice carving of people and God. On one of the cave something written in “Bharhmi Lipi” script.
