Types of flowers [for beginners]

Are you into flowers? Well, I believe everyone loves flowers as they are so colourful and bring freshness to calm our minds. Not only flowers are good treats to the eyes, many flowers are fragrant which gives special taste to the nose!

I have a list of flowers but I believe these are flowers found mostly in the Europe, Americas or Australia. They do not includes many of those from Asia (not to mention wild flowers). Some flowers is only one kind but have several colours. I found this website of very helpful information to learn about flowers, from a beginner like myself.

I knew about yellow, orange or red flowers but to be honest I never knew green or black colour flowers exist.

@Sophia_Cambodia Looks like you can publish a photo book with all these beautiful photos of flowers.

What’s your favorite?

I am old school, so mainly roses for me… to see and enjoy, to make tea, to make jam, and use for garnishing and to make perfume.

Hehehe, not yet I am just a beginner - say I love flowers but had little knowledge of flowers.

The last time I checked, rose is the one of the top ten most beautiful flowers in the world, together with tulip. I never knew you can make tea out of rose @StephenAbraham

Thank you for saying that @Chuytorres-alc actually I don’t have much knowledge of flowers as well. It is just I am very interested to learn about them. You can follow me in Instagram as I often post about photos there. I travel a lot so I saw flowers in many places around the country. Hope to share more later here.
