"@localguides" accounts are no longer used, be sure to follow “@googlemaps” in order to be informed on new features,those are the official social media accounts and of couse here on Connect.
As you can read in Local Guides social updates are moving to Google Maps’ channels “we’ll merge Local Guides’ Instagram and Facebook pages with @googlemaps and move our updates to @googlemaps’ Twitter account.”

Of course, I follow Google Maps on Twitter, and in addition to any hashtag that a local guide publishes on Twitter and Facebook, I was thinking about how to link the hashtag of local guides who are optimistic about their achievements on Twitter.
