Tuscaloosa, Alabama

I would Love to either host a Tuscaloosa, AL group or join one but I believe I am one of the few out here. If you are a Tuscaloosa County resident and are part of Local Guides please reply to this and we can start a group here in town and help grow Tuscaloosa locally owned business and local venues.

Hello @Irontech2020 ! Welcome to Connect, we are happy to have you.

The number of members in your community doesn’t matter as much as effectively helping Tuscaloosa business owners. Of course, you can always spread the word and get your friends and family near you to be Local Guides, too. If you ever want to organise a meet-up (again, numbers don’t matter :D), this post may be really helpful to you.

As you are new here, I recommend reading this post for tips and best practices when using Connect. Can’t wait to see the Tuscaloosa community grow!

I tried to organize a map editing party at my work for BHM guides but did not get a response, I manage the Autobahn Indoor Speedway

Maybe we could invite Tuscaloosa Guides?

I live in Tuscaloosa and work in Bessemer, Al, hoping to organize a map editing party.

Any tips? I posted a meetup in Birmigham and got no response, looks like there a few active guides in Tuscaloosa, Is there a way to alert guides or something?

Thanks

Hello @ChrisP_1 , I’m sorry to hear that! I recommend submitting your meet-up details to our meet-up site. If approved, your meet-up will be featured on both the meet-up site and here on Connect, and community members can RSVP to it. How does that sound?

I’m mostly retired. I tutor math during the school year and that will be over soon.

I’d love to meet up.

I live near Leeds on I-20.
