Turning Things Around

I really think that Google Maps needs to possibly work on it’s precision in as far as how the road looks to the driver in relation with when to take a turn.

I have sometimes missed very important turns because the turn looks further on the map and you discover that it is the one you just missed when it asks you to suddenly make a U-Turn or prompts you to take the next left etc.

This happens a lot when I use Google Maps off my Android, One Plus 3 phone. I know it’s not the newest model but I’ve had it for years and it has served me well

well, sometimes it’s happens to me but only a few times.

That shows a fault that may need to be addressed

This sometimes happens to me too.

However I solve this by using satellite layer on maps which shows clear picture of roads on maps.

However this post by googler @Corrie may help you…

Hi @hiphopguide and thanks for your feedback!

We’re always looking for ways to improve Google Maps, so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to share them with the team from the app itself. You can find the required steps below:

From a computer:

  1. Open Google Maps and make sure you’re signed in.
  2. In the top left, click the Menu (burger menu).
  3. Click Send feedback.
  4. Choose Your opinions about Maps.
  5. To add a screenshot with your feedback, follow the instructions.
  6. Click Send.

From Android:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app.
  2. Tap Menu (burger menu) > Send feedback.

From iOS:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app.
  2. Tap Menu (burger menu) > Help & Feedback.
  3. Tap Send feedback > Send app feedback.

P.S.: The photo that you have shared in your post is a Google brand identity and is reserved for official use only. Please do not use any the Local Guides logo, pins, or any other Google imagery in your online and offline materials, as it is a violation of the Program Rules. And one final thing, I relabeled your publication and it now appears in the How-tos section, as it fits best in there.
