Turkey in 2020: Let's Eat Kumpir!

Kumpir means ‘baked potato’ in Turkish language and I heard from many tourists that how big and filling it is.

Since I was in Antalya for three days and we were exploring all the necessary attractions so Kumpir was my first lunch here at Terra City Mall.

The making is followed by a few steps that is :

1.The guy will fill the potato with butter and cheese to make the texture soft.

2.You are allowed to select a maximum of 6-7 fillings of your choice.

3.Now you can eat.

Kumpir are Turkish style baked potatoe, but that’s interesting that in each countries local cuisine offer similar dish  In Poland we have very similar version of potatoe  it called ‘gzik’. You can find main ingredients only in Poland, it’s very specific fatty cottage cheese. Furthermore, we add 12% cream, bunch of chives and garlic. The recipe is really simple: just mash the curd with a fork in a large bowl, add cream and mix everyting thoroughly until the ingredients combine.
