Turin City & my Nikon D5300

Turin is beautiful city and capital of Italy. Surrounded by mountains with Alps. Very calm place and weather is also very pleasant in Summer. I discovered city on bicycle & tried to visited many places. No issue for traveling in city, many buses available. Underground modern VAL rapid transit system (without driver), fully automated and covered one side 13.2-kilometer (21 stations). People usually sleep early & enjoy day light with jogging or cycling.

Those who are interested in archaeology or history then no issue because they can visit Egyptian museum, National cinema museum, Mole Antonelliana & many more.

Must try Italian food Primi, Secondi, Dolci & Formaggi) and also try some Turkish flavor food like Pizza & Doner.

“All you need is Ice cream”, best ice creams are available in city specially of ‘Alberto Marchetti’.

Hi @farooqsahil ,

Thank you for this amazing post. I have been to Turin last year and I was amazed by his organization and by the hidden beauty of this city, from the Mole to the view from Superga.

@BorrisS Torino was the first ever capital of Italy , if I remember correctly in 1861.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful post about Torino, @farooqsahil , I love your photos of “la Mole”.

@BorrisS , what @Sorbe already confirmed is definitely correct. Italy was a kingdom, at that time, and Turin was the Capital city

Have you ever got the chance to visit Torino @ErmesT ?

It has a particular charme and it’s full of really interesting places to eat or to have a coffee with super tasty gianduia chocolate.

Hello @ErmesT and @Sorbe , I completely agree with you and there is no arguing about that, but this was in the past and it’s not the case anymore. It’s as if I’m saying Fez is the capital of Morocco, it was in the past, but now it’s Rabat.

I asked @farooqsahil , what did he mean by putting his sentence in the present tense, as maybe he had something particular in mind and would like to share it with us.

I’ve never been to Turin, but I would love to visit it one day - Italia bellissima.

Also thanks for correction.

Well @BorrisS i have some confusion that’s why mentioned wrongly.

Hello @farooqsahil , no worries, we all get confused now and then, but I thought that you had something particular in mind, that’s why I asked.

At least, I’m sure you had a great time there, judging by the photos. Which Ice cream flavor did you enjoy the most?
