Tsukiji Fish Market is definitely one of my favorite places to visit in Tokyo. Some of you might have read another post that I wrote earlier this year for eating sushi at 6am in the morning there.
The news of the relocation has been heard for a few years now, but it seems it kept getting delayed. Well, recently I found out that the market has been finally moved and I must say it makes me a bit sad. I had a chance to do a tour a few years back, and now whenever I have a layover in Tokyo, I always try to get a hotel in Ginza so it’s walking distance to the market. But now the market has been moved to Toyosu Market, I will definitely have to check it out next time I have a layover in Tokyo.
