Tsomgo lake or Changu lake is one of the famous tourist destinations in Sikkim, India. Tsomgo stands for Source of water. Located at an altitude of 12310ft. This lake is 40km away from Gangtok and this route leads to Nathula Pass. Remains frozen during winters and surrounded by steep mountains. Temperature ranges from 0c to25c.
Permit is required to visit this lake as this is a protected and sensitive area. Permit can be obtained from tourist center, Gangtok. There is no lodging facility available.
