Trying out my new Moment Lenses

Recently I bought some new Moment lenses for my iPhone 11 Pro Max. We wanted to try them out, so we brought them with us to dinner at our local Texas Roadhouses. I was able to capture some pretty interesting photographs with the “wide” 18 mm lens attached to the wide lens of my phone. Between the aftermarket lens, and Apples “capture outside the frame” software, one photo in particular came out unusual, but still pretty cool. Fusion of the photo through the lens, and the partially blocked ultra wide angle lens, from Apples software, created a unique vignette look you can see in my posted photo. I’m excited to try out more of these lenses in more situations to see what other effects I can come up with!

If anyone else has experience with Moment lenses, and/or iPhone 11 Pro iPhones, feel free to contact me!

Hi @ZackDaddy ,

Thanks for sharing with us! : ]

Congrats on the new lenses, as I would also happen to purchase a similar Wide 18mm Lens from Moment.

I would suggest to check for other applications that would allow you to work with more manual options.

Why not try to capture some videos as well, I do think it would be a lot of fun there as well!

Thanks for your comment. Yes I also do a lot of video, so I’ll be using my lenses for that as well. In fact, one of my lenses is the anamorphic 1.33:1 Lens which I intend to use for some pretty cool “film” projects.

Hi @ZackDaddy ,

Those are indeed great lenses! I am also interested in that subject, as my attempts for little projects would yet to bare fruit.
