Troyes is an old city within a bit more than 2 hours drive, located south east from Paris.
There are iconic old home with half timbered structure (called colombage in french) as well as some gothic architecture as this St Pierre St Paul cathedral.
The city is famous for food as well, this is the place to try their typical andouillette de Troyes, you can go there to try it. My favourite is the one with chaource cheese inside.
