In Google maps, I love sharing mostly about Temples. India with its vast heritage and history has innumerable number of temples. Each temple has its own saga that could be dated eons back. It is not only the embodiment of the divine presence but it also tells us the story about the culture of that particular region’s ancestors and more ; hence, paving more light to the roots of that locale.
There are world famous temples like “ Tirupati” in AndraPradesh and also, lesser known temples like “Malika-Arjun temple ” in Sirisalem, a remote part in Andra Pradesh itself. For example, I found the said " Malika-Arjun temple" by chance in one of my travels. The architecture talks about the divine love between Malika and Arjun who are the human embodiment of Shiv and Parvathy. But this simple structure of great tale is not known to the wider public like the former temple mentioned(Tirupati).
Hence finding such simple and elegant pieces of human mastery by going through unchartered paths and later sharing them to the world has aunique pinch of joy. I hope to find more temples like this and later sharing them on Google maps such that everyone around the globe would also get to feast the majestic beauties of such simple elegance
