When I clicked contribute now > answer questions, a place called Anuruddha Lakmal shows up and keep buffering (the question is: Is there another business you manage. FYI, I don’t use google business or have any such relation). I found the place. It was near a place I visited but I had never been there. I didn’t see the option ‘remove from timeline’ or ‘know this place?’. The name of the place was sounded like a name of a person. So I thought a person might add his/her home to the map as a business and report it as non-existing and reason as ‘other’.
Then I got a notification as ‘your edit is live’. But the Buffering didn’t stop (while I’m typing, it still occurring; now 5 min straight).
Before I try the above option/s, I tried clearing the cache. Even cleaned the cache/junk from the entire phone.
Before I get this trouble, I removed HQ family restaurant from my timeline because I had never been there.
Now I tried the cache clearing options and even restarted the phone. I use wifi, where my router receives from a fibre optic line (I don’t suppose it is a problem with the connection). The attached image is what showing up STILL
Looks like you tapped unintentionally the “claim this business” button, creating a loop that cannot be closed because (according to your post) after that you flagged the place as “non Existing”, so the app is trying to address a question that cannot be answered as your other edit was accepted.
Uninstalling and installing the App again should close the loop and fix the issue.
In any case, according to what I can see in Maps the place appear as “permanently closed”. Are you sure that your approved edit was for “non existing”? As you can see here below “doesn’t exist here” and “other” are two alternative options, so it is not possible to proceed with both steps indicated in your post “report it as non-existing and reason as 'other’.”
@ErmesT Thank you for replying. Actually, it isn’t the cause(I guess). I cleared all data in the Map app and it still continued. Then later today I rated Astech Electricals ignoring the error.
I clicked ‘answer questions’ and the ERROR WAS FIXED! is what I thought. Because I answered 23 questions regarding that place. then clicked contribute more and answer another 3 or 2. then again I clicked contribute more… and here it is. The buffering error.
FYI: last time I clicked claim this business (as in curiosity) is like a season ago. And I Selected “Other”
What @MAHMOUDALWAN has shared isn’t a permanent solution. I believe you should check again your account in the business section if there is any unclaimed/claimed listing then remove it.

@deepakjhic Hello and I appreciate your reply, but for me, It never occurred to me. I mean, when I rate a new place or let say when I rate and review a new place (as we know…) we get a message “Know this place” then click yes, answer a few questions. And later in contributions, I got new questions and answered and claimed points. @ErmesT probably right about claiming business but, I don’t recall I did something that sort of me knowing. But the error did show up at the very end. Like After I answered a random number of questions (eg:54) it shows up but, again after later day or after I mark another place as “visited”/''yes I know this place", that buffering error comes, in few seconds the next series of questions asked from me. But clearing all data or uninstall and reinstall didn’t help for me at the very beginning.
The reply you have posted before 30 minutes on a post, bring me here but the solution is in a different language and I translated but found not a perfect solution.
Could you please visit that post and check the final update by @the_gamer_m7 .?
I am here if we can escalate this issue to the maps team if it is a bug.
