Being As a Local Guides its an absolute honor and immense happiness for me to attend Global, prestigious, gigantic Conference ConnectLIVE:Singapore 2026 at Singapore City. There are 500 million Local Guides worldwide, and I am incredibly proud to be among the top 60 contributors selected for ConnectLIVE:Singapore 2026 I extend my sincere thanks and gratitude actually, I can’t thank you enough, to the Google officials who selected me. I attended ConnectLIVE for the second time; the first one was ConnectLIVE: Tokyo 2025.

Special Mention → This is an iconic flag of Bangladesh belongs to @MahabubMunna. It has traveled to numerous countries, including Bangladesh, India, the USA, the UK (London, Scotland), Italy, Singapore, Japan, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, and Germany. He has personally taken it along to many LG events and willingly lends it to other LGs To represent Bangladesh —a gesture that truly reflects his generosity.
I have tried to capture the little moments of Connect Live Singapore in words and have uploaded 88 Photographs and videos after scrolling through thousands—a task that was incredibly difficult and time-consuming. I therefore humble requesting you to read this long story of mine, bear with me for 2 minutes
Journey has Began
My journey began on July 28th at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport; My husband @ShakibTokyo drops me off at Haneda Airport. I was flying Singapore Airlines, with a departure time of 5:10 PM. Aside from some minor turbulence, the six-hour flight went very smoothly.

Upon landing at Singapore Changi Airport, I was amazed; I spent four hours exploring Terminals 1, 2, and 3, as well as Jewel Changi. After checking into Hotel Amara on the morning of the 29th, I spent the entire day exploring Sentosa Island, Siloso Beach, and Universal Studios Singapore. In the evening, just Arrived at Amara Singapore I met three wonderful womens in the hotel lobby for the second time after Connect LIVE Tokyo and I made sure to capture that moment in a photograph.

After check in to my 12th Floor room, A large flat-screen TV mounted inside my room, displaying a personalized interactive welcome screen for me. The window got a mesmerized sky view.

After freshening up in a neat, well-organized, and immaculate room, I began preparing for the long first day of Connect Live, scheduled for tomorrow. I was organizing the souvenirs for tomorrow’s Take One, Leave One program.

After waking up in the morning, I came to the breakfast table and joined everyone for Palash Bhai’s South Asian Meet-up, which had already started. Meeting all the Local Guides in person at the breakfast table was a huge highlight of Connect Live.

Nilesh is from Mumbai, India, hope we can meet in Tokyo on coming momth, the Super Lady from the Capital of India, New Delhi, Sonam i have met her twice in Tokyo and Singapore hope we’ll hang out more and more. We stepped out onto the streets of Singapore, in the sweltering 35-degree heat, to enjoy our first ConnectLIVE activity. The walk is full of enjoyment, performing task and great bowl of food. And we were Team 3

At Maxwell Food Centre we had our lunch with team3, the popular place for dine-in, overcrowded that we couldn’t find a table, the dishes were The Singaporean Laksa, Hummus with pita bread, Singaporean biriyani. The taste was out of the world.

When we returned to the hotel, we found the bus ready to take us to the Google office. I boarded the bus, and we arrived at the Google office after about 30 minutes.

Take one- Leave one (welcome reception
At Google Local Guides ConnectLIVE Singapore events, Take One, Leave One is a community souvenir-swapping tradition. It provides a way for Local Guides from all over the world to exchange small, meaningful souvenirs representing their hometowns, country, city or cultures. a designated table is set up with all the contributed items. LGs brough small gifts from their home regions—such as local snacks, keychains, stickers, pins, bages. postcard sets, Books, or handcrafted items.

Just like at the previous Connect Live, we chose traditional attire this time as well. We, the Bangladeshi Local Guides, wore sarees (the women) and panjabis (the men). We have also tried to bring a traditional touch to our own attire, alongside our souvenir.
