Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the sacred Tripura Mandir. It was a spiritually uplifting experience, especially because I was able to attend the evening Aarti, which is truly one of the most peaceful and divine moments to witness at the temple.
I reached the temple at 6:55 PM, just a few minutes before the Aarti begins at 7:00 PM sharp. The entire Aarti ceremony lasts for around 30 minutes, and during this time, the whole atmosphere transforms into something deeply spiritual and mesmerizing. Standing there, watching the rituals unfold with rhythmic chants, ringing bells, and the glow of oil lamps, made me feel connected, calm, and completely at peace.
After the Aarti, I chose to sit quietly inside the temple. Even amidst the presence of monkeys—who are a common sight there—there was a powerful sense of peace and serenity that surrounded me. It felt as though the divine energy of the place had settled deep within me.
I would truly suggest to anyone visiting the Tripura Mandir to make it a point to attend the Aarti, whether in the morning or evening. It brings a different level of devotional experience and stays with you long after you’ve left.
A few years ago, I had also experienced the morning Aarti, which starts at 7:00 AM. That time of day has its own unique charm. The cool, fresh air, the sound of chirping birds like sparrows, and the golden rays of the early sun create a magical and divine environment. The calmness of the early morning combined with the spiritual energy of the temple makes it a moment worth waking up early for.
Whether it’s the morning or evening Aarti, both provide a next-level spiritual connection. It’s not just a ritual, but a beautiful experience that touches the heart and soul.
So, if you ever get the chance to visit, do try to attend the Aarti—it’s the soul of the temple.
