I will be vising Japan in September and its my first visit. I will be meeting friends four days into my travels but was hoping to meet up with any google locals in the mean time. I’m really looking forward to trying the food and discovering places off the beaten track. There are a few places I have on my to do list but otherwise I’m up for suggestions. Ping me and let me know if you have any ideas.
@sbadakhc Tokyo, how exciting! To help get you started, take a look at these two links, one is a general search on Connect for Japan and Tokyo. I even found a great post on a top place to visit in Japan. I hope this helps!
Hello @sbadakhc , @OSAMA .
Actually I’m living in Japan, but my hometown is little far from Tokyo.
(Here is Iwate, north east of Tokyo.)
So unfortunately I can’t guide you @sbadakhc in Tokyo.
But I can try to search people who know interesting spots, if you want.
Now, if you have no ideas, I recommend to go to Hot spring (Onsen).
However I don’t know some good hot springs in Tokyo.
If you do this, you should may to go to another prefecture.
And I recommend Edo-Tokyo Building Park too. http://tatemonoen.jp/
In this place, you can look at old buildings of Japan.
Just in case, I have some opinions for you.
Please don’t ride subway at around 8 a.m. You’ll become flat.
If you have allergies or a policy of meals, you should have a profile card about it in Japanese. (If you need it, I can make it for you.)
