Trip to the Burabay, the pearl of Kazakhstan.

Hi, last weekend we visited the Burabay.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burabay_National_Park

This place is located about 260 km from Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

It’s a national Park. On the territory of which there are lakes with crystal clear water, surrounded by thick pine forests with healing air, high picturesque mountains with lots of animals and plants.

This place I think deserves to come there and thousands of miles away. And of course it is desirable to live there for at least a week. But we were limited in time and therefore stayed there for two days.

Burabay from Astana can be reached by excellent quality highway.

In Burabay there are many hotels for any budget. We paid about $ 100 per night for a couple with four children, though without food, we were so comfortable. Since it was the end of the season, so it was not crowded.

We walked along the embankment, visited a good zoo, a local Church, took a lot of photos, the local scenery is admirable.

And pine air heals soul and body.)))

We rode a bike along the lake, about 25 km, there is a good bike path.

In my opinion than to read I think you will be interested to see the photo.

One of the stones in the photo reminded me of a walrus or some sea animal…

The highway from Astana to Burabay is really excellent, with a permitted speed of 140 km/h, the road takes about two hours. In these photos, different types of mushrooms, which are in the forest a huge amount… Honestly I do not know them all, the first photo it seems deer horns, rare and healing mushroom…

Stella’s in Ablai Khan’s clearing, it’s a historic place…Just a beautiful combination of stone and metal, noted for himself as an interesting solution for the design of the home plot…This is a poisonous mushroom-toadstool, in any case, do not collect it!!!Fairy tree…))Petting zoo animals can be stroked and fed really stock up on cabbage in the shop, at the zoo do not sell.City beach…The beginning of the bike ride…

Finish…

Very beautiful forest river feeding the main lake…Mushrooms can be collected directly in the city in the parking …

Hey @b_andrey

Thank you for this amazing post. I bet you had an amazing time. Can you add more details to the photos that you shared, as Kazakhstan is not advertised as it probably should be and you gave us some good material to discuss? Do you think that there are structures and facilities to guest lots of tourists for example or the beauty of the country it’s within the wildlife?

Looking forward to your feedback and maybe to a brief description with fun facts about the photos that you have posted.

Hi

Sorbe

Thanks for the advice, and I will gladly answer all your questions…

Yes, indeed, now Kazakhstan is not so popular among tourists.

In my opinion, Kazakhstan is convenient both for outdoor enthusiasts and for lovers of urban ( comfortable tourism). There are such megacities as Almaty, Astana-the capital , Chimkent (very ancient city), Turkestan (the historical center of the Turkic civilization). Where there is everything for lovers of urban tourism. I think that the prices will pleasantly surprise tourists in these cities a lot of comfortable hotels for every pocket.

Nice photos @b_andrey

Thank you for sharing with us.
