Trip to Ooty

Peace of mind in the lap of nilgiri
After hectic days of work and facing busy life in Bangalore we really deserved a peaceful trip to somewhere in south India. We choose OOTY(udagamandalam).

It was July 2018 which is a rainy season in most part of India which is idea time to visit OOty , Although you can visit in any month, But rainy season is our best so we decided to go in July.

How to reach?
There are bus services run from Bangalore to OOty by both KSRTC and private travellers like: redbus, MakeMyTrip , Goibibo and many more , You can book online tickets for both providers. Since there are many providers so there is a great possibility to get good deal.

Most of these providers will mention the pickup and drop location, You can select the drop location based on your hotel or let it be ooty govt bus stand.

Where to stay?
There are hotels in Ooty as well as nearby locations , if you want peaceful place ,no city life then stay nearby hotels which are located in the radius of 4,5 km. We stayed in Hotel Glen Park In .

Places to visit?
The best way to visit the places in ooty or near to it is to rent a car.Hotel staff can arrange the car if you talk to them. Below is the list which we visited and also suggest these places for a trip of 3 days:
1. tea factory

2.Doddabetta peak

3. Toy train (Nilgiri Mountain train)

4. kurnoor

5.Rose Gardan

6. Botanic Garden

Summary:
Overall it was a nice trip with lots of memories and more important peace of mind.
