Triathlon Fever

Few more weeks from now and we will be greeted with the warmest smile of the summer season. It is also the busiest season for most triathlon afficionados. Here in the Bas St Laurent area, the athletes are looking forward to the annual triathlon race in Pohénégamook, Quebec. A small community but has lots to offer for the tri athletes in terms of scenic view, warm welcoming people and friendly race organisers. I, myself is preparing too for this upcoming race and this would be my very first triathlon race. As a first-timer athlete, i rely so much of my race resources via web and wisdoms from fellow tri athletes. This year i will be competing in an olympic distance race via age group category. It would be a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run. My ultimate goal is to just finish the race before the alloted time runs out. I am very excited for my debut in the triathlon world! I hope i could keep up with my training program as i am also working full time which is quiet challenging. I hope to reach my race goal and let’s see what would happen next. I would love to hear more tips and guidance from everyone who loves this sport. See you in the race!
