Triangle Cafe Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Triangle Cafe at Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh is a lovely restaurant nestled on the side of Dhanmondi Lake. You can walk around the perimeter of the lake and it is shaded by beautiful trees. Suddenly you come upon the cafe…

The Cold Coffee is divine on a hot summer afternoon.

Inside the restaurant is a Large Tree Trunk bearing Jackfruit. Huge & Large…& Beautiful.

The view from the cafe is peaceful. You can sit at a table facing the entrance and sip cold coffee watching the river and let time flow just for bit a least.

Where do you enjoy your coffee? Thanks ever so much for reading the post.

Actually most of my coffee is enjoyed at home on my balcony @yagokd but when I do go out for a cup, it usually ends up being more for practical reasons so not many great views unfortunately.

@MortenSI

That is the case with so many of us. Don’t have a Balconey, but have a Recliner Chair. Get different brands of coffee, all instant, & try them. We have good coffee shops in Mumbai but they have these extra large servings which are too much in one go to drink.

I only drink instant coffee at home @yagokd so I’ve gotten used to it but in Denmark we usually drink filter coffee. It’s my favorite kind too, but I love a good cappuccino as well.

In India especially the South, filter coffee is very popular, pronounced as Kapi. Are you on instagram?

Interesting @yagokd , I actually thought you were drinking more tea and espresso than filter coffee. I thought the filter coffee was mostly an American thing and then of course northern Europe.

North India drinks Tea or Chai, South India drinks Filter Kapi, & then we had a wave of Coffee Shops opening Cafe Coffee Day is homegrown, Starbucks, Costa et al have all opened here. It is tough competition to survive in this market!

I think it’s the same trend everywhere @yagokd , nowadays there’s a coffee shop on every street corner. You’ll have to really stand out.
