The Tulian Lake is one of the beautiful mountain top lakes in the Kashmir valley of India. The Tulian Lake lies at an altitude of about 13000 ft. in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
The main water supply for this lake is the melted snow from the adjacent mountains. This water then runs under the stones and pebbles and eventually runs through the mountain valleys towers the lower altitude, after which the water meets with the Liddar River in Pahalgam town.
To access the Lake, there is no road. One has walk by climbing the four different mountains by foot. The terrain is mixed, some parts are difficult to walk due to steep portions of mountains while some portion is less steep.
Very nice post with amazing photos and descriptions @Basitlone . I love the photos of the Tulian lake with blue water. We have a place in Bangladesh named Lalakhal with such blue water. Tulian reminds me of Lalakhal. One day I will make a post on that. Thanks a lot for sharing this nice post.
Wonderful! We are having a bad summer here in the Netherlands, with lots of rainy and very cloudy days, so I couldn’t go out a lot to see places during my holidays. Fortunately there are posts like yours, which allow me to see a bit of the world anyway
