Peru is a beautiful country that has many routes for trekking lovers. Many times the most beautiful places are not very accessible to arrive, so the trekking offers you the possibility of knowing these places through an unforgettable experience.
In that sense, a few months ago I proposed a goal: to know and make known the best places to trek in Peru. I was new to this, so the first step to achieve my goal was to find information on Google Maps. The photos, videos and reviews I found helped me a lot and encouraged me to continue on my way.
So, in December 2017, I decided to visit the ruins of Choquequirao in Cusco. It was a very difficult route but I finally succeeded. I recognize that a large part of my success was thanks to the recommendations found in Google Maps. For example, one of the reviews recommended me to save the map of the area (offline map), which was extremely important and vital during the route.
From the trip to Choquequirao in 2017, I committed more to make reviews, posting photos&videos and recommending trekking routes through Peru. So, then I visited Rainbow Mountain (Cusco), 69 lake (Huaráz), Huaytapallana snowy (Junín) and others.
Also I love to make reviews a lot of these trips, for examples places to eat, places to visit, hostel, transportation, among others.
Currently, I am looking for some routes near Lima (city where I live) and that I can do it on weekends.
I leave some photos of the trekking routes that I made.
If you have comments or some recommendations, do not hesitate to contact me.
A hug,
Marlon
