In my recent trip to visit my daughter and son in law who works in Cambridge, UK…I had a spectacular and memorable time at the parks…in particular Jesus Green. I was so amazed at how vast it was and how neatly arranged the trees were…they didn’t just grow anywhere like a forest…they were lined along pathways to purposely provide shade. I was so impressed by how well maintained and managed they were. The vastness of their parks truly made me realize how important trees are in our lifetime. They not only give shade, they give out Oxygen and gives us fresh air…Trees provide us with natural unparalleled beauty. Can you just imagine parks without trees? How would it look? So empty! Trees are like our Uncles and Aunties. They are there forever like family! We should respect and honor them. We should never cut trees. I am always drawn to trees for its magnificence and vibrant colors. They are huge and powerful though barely moving. I always hug trees whenever I see one… like hugging a long lost Uncle or Aunty I haven’t seen in awhile. I feel so young around 100 year old trees…They have perhaps witnessed a lot of events on Earth that we barely even know. So the next time you see a tree …give them a high five or hug for me.
