Tree plantation in Birth Place of Lord Buddha, Lumbini Nepal

Tree Plantation Program, organized by District 325B2 LC Mid Town Kotihawa and Participation of President, Charter Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer and 10 more Lions Members of LC Mid Town Kotihawa, Bhairahawa.

Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) organized helped by tree plantation program on June 2019. 100 saplings were planted by Trust as decided by the District 325B2 LC Mid Town Kotihawa and Civil Aviation in the New Lumbini Village of the Lumbini Master Plan Area.

The plantation campaign was participated by the Participation of President, Charter Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer and 10 more Lions Members of LC Mid Town Kotihawa, Bhairahawa. and local people.

The monks and nuns chanted and prayed for world peace and green world before beginning the the plantation. the plantation program is being continued to make green and clean Lumbini.

What a noble initiative for the environment @Khanabadosh1986 ! Why should someone volunteer for the environment?

our nepal is landlocked country, north china & india, south side india, east side india west side is india. world big country using bigger factory, industry & city’s out put large scalecarbon in earth. our small country nepal big impacts. our awareness campaign in our village, city & area. local youth club, lions club, Leo club, mother group some time & some days free tree plantation. our slogan “one house one tree” .

Thank you for your reply @Khanabadosh1986 , you don’t have to clean a beach, or the ocean. I’ll quote from the article:

"Clean the planet - Volunteer meet-ups

Cleaning around the school with the Local Guides, with a picnic / party at the end of the day

Adopt a Place - Volunteer meetups, for keeping a specific area monitored and clean

Social cleanup - Cleanup the yard of an old person or someone who you know who can’t look after themselves"
