But there is also a place where lived the World’s loneliest tree: Tree of Ténéré
This tree once considered the loneliest tree on Earth i.e. One in over 400 km.
Yes!! you read it correct… One in over 400 km area. It was so well known that it was only tree on map at the scale of 1:4,000,000.
It was located near a 40-metre (131 feet)-deep well. But, Sadly it was knocked down in 1973, by a drunk truck driver.
On November 8, 1973, the dead tree was moved to the Niger National Museum in the capital Niamey.
Currently, The lace has been marked with a metal sculpture as shown below:
It is an inspiration for many to showcase that people can stand alone also in all adversaries without waiting for others to stand beside you…
