NIGERIA is a beautiful and naturally endowed with breathtaking landscapes. It’s a very diverse country with over 200 ethnic groups and 6 major geopolitical zones. It’s twice as big as the state of Texas and has an estimated population of about 180m people and growing! I was born in the eighties and now in my fourties and work as a Salesman with supervisory capacity all over the country. This enables me to travel to very many places within NIGERIA to both work and interact with the people in the different locations I visit: their lifestyles, culture, trading culture and patterns, language and also enables me experience a lot. I took the opportunity to sign up as a Google local guide because I could easily contribute in my own small way, by guiding others like me who could either be both local people or foreigners to the best possible experience when visiting or traveling to any of the destinations I have been to serverally and experienced first hand myself! A review genuinely published about a place goes a long way to guide a visiting person the right places to either experience good food or where to stay or where to get essentials and also hangout. I agree the program is worth the while and an excellent initiative which should continue.
