Beautiful and golden sands, enjoyed while sipping a mocktail in a seaside resto… Intricate and elegant architecture of medieval era monuments… Sumptuous and spicy biryani with an overwhelming aroma… Sharing experience at a place on Google is one of the best ways of propagating information among people as Google is used by almost all the people across the globe. I travel quite a lot and I love sharing reviews and photographs of restaurants, airports and tourist spots. I make it a point to mention my unique experience (good or bad) at a particular spot so that it can benefit people who are planning to visit the same place. For instance, when writing a review about a restaurant, I try to analyze the place through specific aspects: location, taste, ambiance, staff behavior, cost, and parking space, and mention the aspects that make the place different. When writing a review about an airport, I tend to include details of its efficiency of handling passengers and ambiance. Being a frequent traveler, I can understand the difficulties undergone by people who are new to a particular place.
It gives me pride when I realize that I am of help to people whom I have never met in my life. I want more people to travel and explore new places independently, which is why I love sharing my experiences on Google Maps. From trying out new cuisines to biking to a lovely beach located far outside the mainstream places, all these activities need some prior knowledge in terms of various parameters like facilities and safety. Rather than depending on word-of-mouth of only nearby friends, which gives information about limited places, reading reviews on Google Maps can help people to make better decisions.
