Hi guys,
I am Kemal and I just love travelling and exploring and experiencing new things all around the world. I have been travelling as much as I can since I graduated from high school when I was 17. I went to UK to study there but, as you all might know, not everything goes as your plans. I have been in UK for a little over a year and than came back to my country, Cyprus. I went to University here and graduated in 2001 and ended up in Finland as an IT trainee. I have been in there for 6 months and I must admit that it was six months that I will forget the day I die.
Anyway I love travelling and exploring and experiencing things like “Once in a life time opportunities”. On the other hand I am an easy going person and I like helping people who needs help. That really makes me happy. While travelling it’s quite hard to find accurate information about the places you want to visit or about a restaurant that you are planning to have a nice dinner or just a drink. Internet full of dirty and unclear information for such things. One day when I realized that I could share my experiences or thoughts thru google maps, I was like a kid who had his Christmas present in his hands. I instantly started to share as much as I can to help people who really needs such information. Sometimes it was about a place that I visited sometimes it was a review about a restaurant or a coffee shop. I was travelling and by just sharing my experiences I was helping to others like me. What else I could have wanted?..
Since than, I am happy to use google maps and contribution option for google maps, because anyone who needs anything, first place to check; “Google”.
I am quite new at this but I am doing my best to reach as much as people I can. Although I am living in small country, I am working hard. In just a year I became level 6. I was unaware of this local guides event until level 5 because, all I wanted to reach everyone who really needs to be.
I am so happy to be the part of this family and I hope one day I can meet my team mates too…
