As you know the only way we can travel on this days is with our memories, watching photos and talking about it. You know right?
In this time I’ll share with all of you my last trip to the city of “Mar del Plata” in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This place is located 404 kilometers from Buenos Aires city, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Mar del Plata aka “Mardel” & “La Feliz” was the place chosen for the upper-class people from Buenos Aires in the earlier twenty century for holidays time. They used to spend the whole summer here (from December to March). In this days is not as used to be, why? well, many reasons: people choose other beaches in the area or in another country.
Despite this Mar del Plata is still a popular destination on holidays because all the possibilities for entertainment there. You have there:
*15 kilometers of beaches (for sunbathing, water sports, fishing)
*A great offer of theatrical plays (over fifty in summer season)
*Shows & festival like “Mar del Plata International Film Festival”, “National Sea Festival”, “The Valencian Falles” and more.
*Museums
*Nightlife

**I like to go to “Mardel” when the Summer is finishing (March/April), I know you’re thinking “but why?” easy, the summer there is crowded, there are a lot of people in everywhere, rows for everything and I don’t like it. As I say this place has many kilometers of beaches, I recommend those in the south like Waikiki, South Beach, Alfar and Playa Serena. Mar del Plata is a huge city, is windy, the sand is not the best and water is cold even in Summer but I love this place, I think is because my memories from my childhood, my vacation there when I was the youngest of five brothers going there and having fun. I miss those times.
