Traveling to San Antonio from Houston?

If you are planning weekend trip or even just heading west for business. Plan on it taking a little longer( like an hour). They are doing construction in both sides of I10 west of Katy. There is about 30 miles of lane switching and narrowing just past Katy to the west and about 20 miles east of San Antonio . They have signs everywhere but for some reason people still think they can wait till the last second to change lanes before they end. Leave plenty of room in front of you because the traffic is stop and go. Like stop now cause everyone in front of you panic stopped at the same time kind of stopping. Anyways wish y’all safe travels and remember to keep lots of cool water in the vehicle with you. You may be stopped longer than you think and it is hot out here.

Welcome to Connect @sclarktx
You might like to post about yourself on our July introductory thread at https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Introduce-Yourself-July-2021/m-p/2974805

I have merged your duplicate posts. Did you know you can report roadworks and closed roads directly on Google Maps which will help a lot more people than posting it here on Connect?
