What makes first time spending vacation leave abroad more exciting?! Taking it SOLO! I had never paid myself for the hard work I have done for my family for almost a decade until I got the chance and earned enough finance for my childhood dream vacation in October 2019. I just went to New York- the city that never sleeps. I had been dreaming to visit this place since I have learned about it during my Elementary school. When I started working, I struggled to fulfill this dream due to my priorities. But still sticking to my goal and focus to achieve it. Finally, I had the opportunity. This is my first time travel escapades so far and I took it SOLO!.. What made it more exciting is that I don’t have family, relatives, friends or anybody that would accommodate and guide me to what to do and where to go. I just relied on my guts and research on google and mostly utilizing google maps during this whole experience. I needed to accumulate lots of strength within myself to do this. There’s a fear, naturally but the overwhelmingly emotions of excitement took aside this. I took pictures, videos of the places I visited for remembrance and guidance for others if they will try to experience what I did. I hope this entire journey will inspire not to have second thought to travel on their own because google is there to guide them just like what it did to me.
