Hi guys!!
Hope you are having an awesome day!
Let me tell you what I am most passionate about sharing in Google Maps and why I love to contribute!
I am a passionate explorer and photographer. That is why I love sharing in google maps about the new places I go to such as lagoons, forests, beaches , new cities and the restaurants and hotels that I visit in that area. I usually share more about places full of nature because I really enjoy connecting with the earth, it relaxes me and keeps me always in a happy mood! I also love those places because I love to discover new locations where I can take amazing photos for my clients. Here in Nicaragua we have an amazing flora and I know that many places can serve as interesting spots for creating breathtaking images.
Contributing to google maps to help other is my biggest motivation. It has giving me some kind of purpose in the world, because with my contributions I know I am helping fellow adventurers like me to discover the world easier and faster. Before google maps, it must have been really hard to get a good sense of location, or an idea about the new restaurant or hotel you will be in. That is why I love google maps, because I use it almost every time I go to a new place, just to see if someone has done a review that can help me to select the best hotel to stay in while I am traveling or the best restaurant to eat. I mean it is very useful and easy to use! I love it!
Google maps is a powerful platform that can also help in another extend. Just to give you a bit of context, my country has gone through a very delicate socio-political crisis that affected many businesses; some businesses had to close down, others changed locations or even change their names to survive, others opened new businesses, etc… Therefore, there are many changes and new places to add to the Nicaraguan Map, so I am trying to create awareness within our local guides community here so we can join more efforts to help those places to be found in the map. I have more info about this in a post about the last meet-up we had, in case you would love to read it.
I also wanted to share with you some really cool photos I have taken from some of my trips
