Traveler's boon

In a country with 2nd highest number of internet users in the world, Google Maps is a great platform to share information about your locality and making it visible on global level.

I have traveled to many unexplored as well as commercialized places in India. However, I have an inclination towards the unexplored and unconventional places, I love taking photos of such places on my phone and posting them on the Maps. This will help most of the busy travelers like me, who don’t have enough time to go through tourism websites and directories, Google Maps is a handy tool, which you can scroll through while you are hitchhiking. This benefits the small shops and businesses in and around these places and also exposes their culture and narratives to the world.

I love meeting people and learning about their beliefs and stories. I post reviews of stories related to such places on Google Maps so these places gain recognition that they deserve.

Kempty falls is a beautiful, yet a lesser known spot. It was named by British colonizers and is a must visit in Mussoorie.

Guchchupani is situated inside a cave. It is known that this cave was once inhabited by robbers and now is open for public. I have a special liking for waterfalls and other natural water bodies. I keep looking for them around wherever I go.

I have an aim to encourage tourism in places like these. I believe it will strengthen the condition of rural people and connect them to the outside world as well.
