Traveler food lovers in Portugal

Heya all!

So,

I’m Paulo, 37y and currently living in Southern Portugal, the Algarve. Living in Portugal has its perks. Specially after travelling around the world for a couple of years and having been an emigrate overseas for many years. I mean with this, that the World is an gem ready to be discovered, and there are so many places to visit. But, for me, its preety much about food and people. And food brings people together!

South American food is great. Southeast asian food is awesome. But common, Portugal food is an absolute dream.

How can a Country be so small, and yet be so diverse in People and their food.

For me, travelling with a purpose, its travelling to taste new dishes, hidden restaurants, and to discover new ways to appreciate life!

I dare you to come with me and have a feast in my Algarve. I am also open to visit you and taste what you have to share.

Hi, thanks for this note! I know that a lot of Dutch travellers visit this region as it seems to be very sunny and inexpensive. Would you recommend going to Faro and other major cities or go to the countryside and skip the crowds? And is it really so that the planes are flying over the city as the airport is very close?

Cheers,

Kate
