A journey to Matarbari island. We have started from Chittagong at 0800 hrs on 02 Nov, 2018. Reached at Badarkhali jetty ghat after 04 hours of travelling. We board in a speed boat and started for Matarbari island. It was about forty minutes to reach at Matarbari ghat. On the way we crossed Matamuhuri river and Kohelia river. It was a very nice journey. You can come to visit Matarbari island and enjoy the natural beauty of the island.

@MortenSI , Yes, there are. Local guides or other travelers can come to visit Materbari island by road from Chittagong or from Cox’s Bazar to Badarkhali or directly to Matarbari island and go around. Boat can be hired from Badarkhali and enjoy boat journey also. One thing is to be remember that ,boat is not run at the lowest water to avoid grounding. There are no hotel or residents for for traveler at MMatarbari or in Badarkhali. Thanks again.

Thank you very much @Siddiqui-BA , those travel tips are really helpful.
Especially the fact that there are no options for accommodation, is a good thing to know. If I ever plan to go there, I will have your tips in mind.
I hope to see more great posts from you in the future.
