Travel tips in India

Motto:

We experiment and overcome many hurdles during our trips. The motto of sharing the tips is for helping others who should have a smoothway during their visits.

Home Work:

India is vast country in which 22 official languages are spoken and many dialects. The first hurdle is the language barrier. Keeping in mind the visitors should not be exploited, I have written, published a book “Speak Kannada Through English and a Concise Guide to Karnataka” which is available on amazon.in. Similarly, such books on languages could be bought and a notes could be prepared while planning to visit India.

Step 1: if you are planning to visit India, one has to plan in advance the number of days of visits, list of sightseeing places, free time in between to rest, and the days for shopping and above all the to and from tickets to be booked well in advance.

Step 2: The essential factor of a visit is to decide what interests us most. Our choice might be architecture, ancient civilization and historical places, religious places of worship, beaches, landscape, tracking the water sources, trekking, food, travel by train or driving experience, fun making, entertainment, learning yoga, dance, music, study of culture, heritage places, partaking in festivals, and many more or a combination of many of the above mentioned list.

Step 3: After the choices of the places of visits, the inland journey, modes of journey and to book the accommodation should be one’s priority. it depends upon the budget. Easily it could also be done online. While doing so, the guides should be booked for each place and should be consulted about the choices. We the local guides will be of much help because, we do not charge; we have a dedication for helping others and ease your ways. we find pleasure in chalking out the best trip for you. More over, we are localites and could caution for security and safety.

Step 4: Now it is interaction. you can ask questions and we shall freely with pleasure help you in all the ways.

Hi @hari14 ,

Thank you for sharing this post with us. What do you think we should not miss visiting while in India? And what is the best way to move between cities?

I take this as a valid question to be answered. The first question to asked to ourselves is why should we visit India? After all what is there special which is not there in my country?

Then if you have a goal, then you may first drop in a metro city like, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai.or Delhi. There is nothing new to learn in a city except pollution and traffic jams. One should go away from the maddening crowd.

The second question is that how many days I can devote? Depending upon that you can have a flying visit in Domestic Airliners, or if leisurely enjoy a drive but it is to be noted that places in India are connected by the largest network namely, by train. You can different budget classes. Please note that unless you book in advance to and fro and have a confirmed ticket, please do not venture to travel. Tickets can be booked 120 days in advance.

Thirdly, you can call a travel agent to help you or contact us the local guides to plan your trip. We are reliable and not after money. Service is our motto hence, we shall help you in recommending the mode of transport, places of visit and for the stay depending upon your budget and time you can spare.

Happy stay!

Thank you for this very detailed reply @hari14 . I would like to read a post about one of the cities you mentioned above. Hope to visit one day your beautiful country!

Please contact me before you plan to visit. I shall plan for you and you will acknowledge my expertise when you go back! That’s what we may term it as mutual concern and mutual trust. Long live our friendship.
