That was some time ago, when Georgia (in Caucasus region) had been promoted as the new destination. I visited it several times then and started posting in G.Maps interesting places, on my opinion. Then after it was an interesting experience that some of my photos was viewed thousands times, not only from Georgia.
That made me understood that the sharing my photos in new geographic areas is able to help others to discover more and somehow share my positive experience as well.
