Anamudi Shola National Park with 42.68 square KM area was declared as National Park on December 14, 2003. Mannavan shoal, Pullaradi Shola and Idivara Shola constitute Anamudi Shola National Park. Uniqueness of Anamudi Shola National Park is the altitude and vegetation. Altitude ranges from 1600 to 2400 MSL. Tree Ferns are abundant while we travel through the forests. This forest is not so accessible by using ordinary vehicles. You can reach here either via tea estates of Munnar from Kochi or via sandal forests of Marayur from Coimbatore. Trekking to shola forests and stay in log house are the tourist attractions.
