This is an interesting topic and thank you for starting this. I agree with you most food in the planes or for sale in train stations, buses is fast food or else… I would recommend eat well before you leave the house, pack fruits and vegetable snacks and hydrate properly. Get a good book with you, check the library once in a while, get a kindle or download some ebooks on your mobile device.
Also, for your relaxation and as anti stress, your favorite tunes on your smartphone, install an app for meditation like Calm or Omvana and get some good noise cancellation headsets to enjoy sound.
Avoid Pizza!
@GigiR I love that Buddha photo, thank you very much for posting it.

that’s an interesting post right there. I can understand your point of view but I would rather think it is the way people plan their travel, or don’t, which could be lead to unhealthy results. I think the act of Travel is fulfilling for both body and mind but one needs to understand the human body has limitations and try prepare a solution as such.
When we travel, no matter the distance, our body adjusts as such, so much so that we may not recognise it on a conscious level. For example, a person’s appetite may increase or decrease as well as how the gut functions.
The gut hosts a plethora of bacteria and studies show cases linked to mental illness are often linked to bad gut health as opposed to issues in the brain but that’s a whole other topic for another time.
@GigiR gives some sound advice here.
Nice post regardless
