Hi @TabbyAli Good to see you want to visit Utah and are looking for some great recommendations. Thanks to the Travel & Advice board Local Guides can share great information with us. I would also like to add that sometimes some post can go unnoticed due to its heading not catchy, I don’t know where Utah is, but I can help tag a Local Guides in that region or country if you add something like the country details of where you plan to visit. For example something like Visting Utah, India. With that a lot of people will be able to help by answering or at least tagging some local guides who knows the place. I hope you find the information useful :). Don’t also forget to share us photos and your experience after your visit.

Kind Regards

What types of things are you looking to explore? I can more effectively make recommendations with some context.

@TabbyAli have a safe journey and always stay blessed

I’m so glad to hear you’re visiting Salt Lake @TabbyAli ! There are tons of fun things to do.

If you want great food, try All Chay Vietnamese at 1264 W 500 N for awesome vegan food, Cedars of Lebanon at 152 E 200 S for a excellent Lebanese food, or Lucky 13 (a bar) at 135 W 1300 S for gourmet burgers and good drinks.

Temple Square is an iconic piece of Salt Lake history and culture and worth a visit if you’re in town. I also recommend Liberty Park and Tracy Aviary, but be sure to bundle up. If you’re up for a short hike and to see the mountains around Salt Lake, go to City Creek Canyon (120 E 700 Ave) or The Living Room Trailhead (383 Colorow Road near the University). The Living Room Trail will give you an excellent view of the city.

Finally, the Natural History Museum above the University and Clark Planetarium near the Gateway Mall are two really fun places to visit.

I hope you have fun on your trip! I’m sure you’ll love Salt Lake.

Well if dates match I may help guide you on Saturdays.

However there is a very good visitors Center at the Salt Palace, which is very close to the Temple Square center of the city.

In case you would like to do something extraordinary, but Walking Salt Lake book, or you may also get South Temple Street Self Guided Tour. (once the place of homes of rich people) The information for that tour are available at the Visitor Center.
