Travel for those who can't

Technology has given us a lot and one of them is traveling. No I’m not talking about using the internet to book your tickets. What I’m talking about is traveling around the world while your in your living room. That technology is Virtual Tours using Virtual Reality. Yes using Google’s Street View app one make a can choose any place in the world and view that place in 360 degrees photos. In today’s world with social media, it would appear that anybody has the means to travel to any places in the world. This is a luxury that not everyone can have. Not all of us can afford the means and not all of us are young enough or fit enough to move around. Doing Virtual Tours and coupled with VR goggles such as Oculus Go you are immersed in the experience without spending a bundle and all this while you are at home.

Last year I was with my family at Osaka Japan celebrating my 50th birthday. Using my 360 camera I captured our travel in 360. I love using this camera cause I don’t miss any thing. Unfortunately I’m unable to share my shots cause

Local Guides Connect does not accept 360 photos. Now looking back using my Oculus Go I am immersed back to Japan. Feels like I went back in time. I want to be a partner of Google to share this experience to the world!
