Thailand is considered a golden temple nation, each temple associated with history and mysterious stories. I especially remember the story of the golden statue at Traimit temple and the face covered the tree st.
In Traimit temple is a 3-meter-high and 5-ton gold Buddha Statue that was made entirely of gold, in the 13th century. To avoid theft, the monks covered the statue with plaster. In 1954 when people moved the statue, the plaster cover was broken and exposed gold inside.
The Phra Mahthat Temple in Ayutthaya ruins is famous for Buddha’s face surrounded by banyan tree roots. The story says that the Buddha’s head was stolen from the main area of Mahathat Temple and was moved near the wall, but suddenly the head became too heavy to move o the wall and the thief had to give up. The head is then protected by tree roots.
The Traimit Temple is in the center of Bangkok , you could take taxi or tuk tuk. The Pra Mahthat temple is 60km from Bangkok, you could combine subway or skyway and minibus to get there.

Thanks @BudiFXW for you time. No one knows how long, but they get that Pra Mahthat was destroyed and abandoned since 1767 more than 250 years, so I guess about 200 years, how long do you think, my friend?

Waaw 200 years @Thai_Ngh .
It could be, since the banyan tree root is big and thick.
When I was a child I usd to be playing with banyan trees tendril, it is not too big , because my tiny had can fully grab it, but it is so strong.
I can pull one of the tendril, jump and swing again and again, like what Tarzan do when he wan to go to another place.

Dear @BudiFXW , I guessed only, because as usual after building the temple they planted banyan trees. In our country, banyan trees are very sacred and often planted at temples. No one dared to breaking or cutting trees.

Yes, because of that the banyan tree can grow bigger than in my country.
